Disclaimer
Last updated: October 2026
This site is the official Shadowrocket website and manual. This disclaimer explains the scope of our documentation, purchase guidance, and configuration instructions, and distinguishes app features and store transactions from network services users arrange themselves. Before using a feature, check the interface on your device and review the relevant terms.
1. Website and documentation scope
This site provides guidance on verifying the genuine Shadowrocket app, purchasing and installing it, importing existing configurations, setting up rule-based routing, and troubleshooting. Shadowrocket is a closed-source commercial app for Apple platforms, with instructions focused primarily on iPhone and iPad. This documentation explains operations and technical concepts; it does not guarantee suitability for a particular use case, connection performance, or continued availability.
This site does not provide, sell, or recommend nodes, subscriptions, or related network services. Instructions involving Subscribe or Add Server assume that you already have your own subscription or server details. The app is a one-time purchase; network service plans are separate. Purchasing the app does not include a server, subscription, or network service.
2. Accuracy and interface changes
Guides reflect the interface and verifiable information available when they were written. App updates, system changes, device layouts, and differences between App Store regions may change where controls appear, field names, or prompts. We update guidance when we identify discrepancies, but cannot guarantee that every page will always match the app interface.
If the steps in a guide do not match what you see, check the current screen and confirm what the feature does rather than relying on a similarly placed control. App Store listings determine prices, compatibility, system requirements, and purchase eligibility; device prompts and displayed results determine permissions and operation outcomes. If you are unsure, stop making changes and consult the relevant section.
3. Purchases, pricing, and App Store transactions
The App Store is the only place to get Shadowrocket. Before purchasing, verify the developer, Shadow Launch Technology Limited, the official app icon, and app ID 932747118. Our purchase and installation guide explains how to verify the listing; purchases are completed through the App Store.
Prices, currencies, taxes, payment outcomes, refunds, and the visibility of purchased items depend on the current App Store listing and your account status. The manual’s description of a one-time purchase is not a substitute for an order receipt and does not mean the same purchase terms apply to every device. This site does not collect payment for app purchases or guarantee that a purchase or refund request will be approved.
4. Your configurations and responsibility for use
Confirm that you have the right to use your subscription, server details, and configuration files, and comply with applicable laws, network policies, and relevant service terms. Examples in this documentation explain fields and rule syntax; they are not ready-to-use connection credentials and do not assess the quality of any service.
Before changing Config, Global Routing, DNS, or On Demand, keep a copy of your existing configuration and note its current values. Change one item at a time and test the result. Connection outcomes also depend on server status, your local network, and system settings, so troubleshooting steps may not resolve every issue. Do not share subscription links, passwords, or logs containing personal information. Responsibility for losses caused by configuration errors or improper operation is determined by the circumstances and applicable law.
5. External links and applicability
Links to the App Store are provided to verify and purchase Shadowrocket. Once you visit the store, its content, account handling, and transaction rules are managed by the relevant service. This site cannot control changes to external pages, their availability, or how requests are handled; providing a link does not guarantee continued access.
Nothing in this disclaimer excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, or affects rights you have under that law. To check a procedure or prepare feedback, first consult the FAQ and Getting Started. Note the steps and any messages displayed, and remove sensitive information. The version published on this page governs any later revisions.
