Terms of Use
These terms apply to access to and use of Shadowrocket Docs — Official Manual. This is the official Shadowrocket website and manual, with guidance on verifying the genuine app, purchasing and installing it, configuring it, and troubleshooting. Please read these terms before following the documentation. App purchases and use are also subject to the terms shown on the App Store.
1. Scope and App Store purchases
This site provides documentation and does not process app transactions. Shadowrocket is a closed-source commercial app available only on Apple platforms, with instructions focused primarily on iPhone and iPad. The App Store is the only way to get the app. Check the App Store listing for pricing, compatible devices, system requirements, and applicable purchase availability.
Before purchasing, verify the developer, Shadow Launch Technology Limited, the official app icon, and app ID 932747118. Payments, billing, refunds, and restoration of purchases are governed by the rules displayed by the App Store at the time. This site’s guidance does not replace the purchase terms shown on the listing. See the purchase and installation guide for details.
2. Lawful use and user responsibilities
You must comply with the laws and regulations that apply in your location and the requirements of any network you access. Do not use the app or this site’s documentation for unlawful activities, to infringe others’ rights, to access systems without authorization, or to disrupt network operations. Technical guidance in the documentation does not authorize any particular use.
Instructions involving imported configurations assume that you already have your own subscription or server details. You are responsible for verifying that this information comes from a lawful source and that you have permission to use it. Keep your account details, subscription links, passwords, and configuration files secure. When troubleshooting, do not share screenshots or logs containing personal credentials. Remove sensitive information before showing them to anyone.
A one-time purchase of the client ≠ a service plan. This site does not provide, sell, or recommend nodes or subscription services. Purchasing the app does not grant access to servers. Any terms concerning the validity period, fees, or performance of a service you already use are governed by your agreement with that service.
3. Documentation and limitation of liability
The documentation explains common operations and troubleshooting steps. App interfaces, system permissions, and App Store listings may change, so check instructions against the current interface. Rule examples illustrate syntax and are not guaranteed to work in every network environment. Save your original configuration before making changes, adjust one item at a time, and verify the results.
The app is sold on the App Store. Actual connection performance depends on factors such as device status, system settings, network conditions, and any servers you already use. This site does not guarantee that the website or app will remain available or that any particular connection result will be achieved. To the extent permitted by applicable law, this site is not liable for unavailability, data loss, or other indirect losses resulting from following the documentation, configuration errors, network interruptions, or similar issues.
These limitations do not exclude or restrict liability where applicable law does not permit such exclusion or restriction, and do not affect your statutory consumer rights. Keep independent backups of important data; connection status and documentation examples are not backup measures.
4. Intellectual property and use of content
Rights in the Shadowrocket name, trademarks, app, and official app icon belong to its developer or the respective rights holders. Accessing this site does not transfer any trademark, app, or other intellectual property rights, nor does it grant rights beyond those permitted by the applicable license.
This site’s documentation, layout, and website code are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. When quoting the guidance, identify the source accurately and retain the necessary context. Do not misrepresent the conditions for using a feature or use the official app icon in a way that could cause confusion about the source. Before copying, adapting, or using content commercially, make sure you have the necessary rights.
5. Changes to these terms and questions
We may revise these terms in response to legal requirements, changes to the scope of the content, or updates to maintenance practices. Revisions will be published on this page, and the last-updated month at the top will be changed accordingly. Unless otherwise stated, revisions take effect when published. Review the latest terms before continuing to use the documentation. Changes do not affect rights already accrued under applicable law.
If you have questions about the instructions, check the FAQ or Getting Started guide first to confirm the prerequisites and steps. For purchases or billing, refer to the transaction history and support options in your App Store account. This page will never ask you to submit your account password, complete subscription link, or other connection credentials.
